Sullivan Street Mission Facebook Page

The Sullivan Street Mission (SSM) on the Eastside of Elmira, New York was founded in 1903 and was led by the Rev. Martha Minerva 'Minnie' Easton for 50 years. The Mission became a Love Aflame! Worldwide affiliate in 2005 and its work continues to this day. The original Mission building has aged beyond use, and a new home for the work of the Mission is being secured at another address on the same street.

The Rev. Kathy R. Cory is the current pastor of the SSM. She is licensed through Love Aflame! Worldwide and is the great, great granddaughter of the founder.

Many lives have been touched and some rescued by the work of the Mission. By God's grace, many more lives will be touched in coming years. Many forms of service to the surrounding community are performed by the supporters and volunteers of the Mission. Free meals, Thanksgiving & Christmas food baskets, distribution of school supplies, free home fix-ups & clean-ups, and many other services and projects are performed through the Mission.
